The most common reason for 2FA failures is that the clock on your phone has changed and is no longer up to date. If the time on your phone is incorrect, the 2FA will fail. Additionally, Metal X has a 2-minute window for 2FA confirmations, so you won't be able to log in if those 2 minutes have passed.
If you receive a "2FA code error" after you input the Google Authentication code, please follow the instructions below to solve the issue:
- Synchronize the time on your mobile device and computer.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies.
